The Kiss - For Sale

The reason I'm selling my art is to make room for the new art that is on its way... it hasn't yet been created. I am not selling these to make me rich. I paint for a hobby and I'd like people to hold my art in their homes and enjoy it. A lot of my paintings now live in our basement - a function of having a lack of wall-space to hang them all.

Almost all of my paintings are for sale. This is the first one I am highlighting.

Acrylic on canvas, 36" tall by 24" wide. This is titled "The Kiss".

A couple of points to note about this painting:

• It is a one off original painting. There are no copies of it.
• The original picture I worked from was for a perfume and I took a very close cropped view of it. The original advertisement included the two torsos.
• I chose the green and the blue because they invoke different feelings from people and so does a kiss.
• The appearance of the two lovers is that their lips won't quite meet, and that is intentional because in relationships there is often a disconnect.
